• Use a mild detergent and wash separately, as bandhej colours may release a little dye in the first few washes
• Do not wring; dry in shade
• Do not iron directly on the zari, embroidery or sequins
• Steam or iron lightly on low heat if needed; the crinkled bandhej texture is natural and part of its charm
Fabric:
• Silk Bandhej - light and lustrous with a graceful drape
Disclaimer:
• The colour of the actual saree may vary slightly from the photos due to lighting, photography and screen settings
• Bandhej is tied and dyed by hand, so slight variations in dot size, spacing and colour are natural and make every piece unique
• Some bandhej knots may still be tied when you receive the saree; gently pull the fabric to open them
• Rajasthani bandhej often carries a faint natural smell from the dyeing process, which fades after airing or the first dry clean

• Hand-tied bandhej (tie and dye) by artisans in Rajasthan

Story
Mor Kumkum is a celebration in red. Her deep kumkum-red silk is dotted all over with hand-tied yellow bandhej, and big golden roundels bloom across her like festive medallions, each one holding a little peacock among flowers. A golden gota lace runs along her edges, and a flash of yellow peeks out from her border.
She is pure Rajasthani joy, the saree you reach for on karva chauth, a wedding function or a Diwali evening. Light silk keeps her graceful and easy to drape, while her peacocks do all the showing off.
