Story
Saawan Bagicha is a garden in the middle of the monsoon, when every leaf is fresh and every flower seems to bloom at once. She arrives in soft pista green, covered in big maroon roses, lotus-like blossoms and trailing leaves, all stamped by hand in natural pomegranate-based colours. A slim green zari border runs along her edge, catching just enough light to make her glow.
Then her pallu turns the page: creamy ivory, striped with rows of tiny printed motifs and fine golden lines, like a carefully kept old diary. She is graceful without trying too hard, easy to carry from a busy workday to a festive evening, and always looks freshly bloomed.
