Chaukhat is the frame of a doorway. Blocks of terracotta and black stripes come together like framed windows, earthy and modern at the same time.

Description

Beige with patchwork blocks of terracotta and black stripes, edged with a black-and-ivory diamond border and zari. The pallu is black with bold ivory paisleys and terracotta stripe bands with twisted vine motifs. Made in light, elegant Chanderi silk and hand block printed in Rajasthan with natural dyes, it is gentle and skin friendly, and easy to wear to the office, parties and festive occasions.
